Meet One Of Our Newest Members - Jamie Chambers

Why did you join 20-30? How long have you been a member?

I am a new member and joined 20-30 to help make a difference in the lives of children and future generations within our community!

What positions (both club and national) have you held?

I have not had the pleasure of holding any positions yet.

Do you have a nickname? What is it? How did you get it?

I have far too many nicknames to mention!  Mimi, James, and Jaime (pronounced hy-mie) are standard nicknames I hear almost every day though!

Do you like to travel and where have you been?

I was bit by the travel bug before I was old enough to walk and it has evolved into one of my greatest passions ever since!  I have traveled to many states throughout the USA including Hawaii, Washington, Arizona, Nebraska, Florida, North Carolina and New York.  I have also traveled quite a bit internationally and have visited England, Italy, Sicily, Croatia, Spain, and France!

If the whole world were listening, what would you say?

Be the change that you want to see in the world.   You vote for the
very change you wish to see with every word and action emoted throughout your day and life.  Make it count and remember that even the smallest effort makes a significant difference.

How long have you lived here?

I have been a member of our community for ten years.

What is the main thing that makes you unique?

Everything about me!

What is your greatest strength?

Love.

What are you most proud of?

My family.

Do you have any siblings?

I have two amazing brothers and an amazing sister who is passed.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a student attending the University of Nevada, Reno as a Biology major and Natural Resources/Psychology minor.  I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and travel whenever possible!
